impossible bacon pie...

10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 cup grated cheese

1/3 cup chopped onion

2 cups milk

1 cup Bisquick

4 eggs

1/4 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease a 10 inch pie plate. Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour into pie plate. Bake 30 min or until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 min.

*Note* If using 9 inch pie plate, decrease milk to 1 1/2 cups, Bisquick to 3/4 cup, and eggs to three.

This is really good with swiss cheese, mushrooms, green onions, etc. Just like a quiche, you could add whatever you like. The Bisquick sinks to the bottom during baking that makes a little crust. Pretty good!!

I'm lovin' the feel of your blog too!

What do you kids think when they see you taking pictures of your food?

Seriously, if I can get some onion, I am making this tomorrow. Tonight, it's pizza.
